EMT Rescues Man from Burning Truck

At 1:29am, crews responded to a report of a crash involving fire around the corner in Carlisle, PA. The vehicle was fully engulfed, causing parts like tires to explode.
EMT Grace Snyder recognized an elderly man was having difficulty moving away from the vehicle. She rushed to rescue him, and only 20 seconds later a larger part of the vehicle exploded.
This was all captured on video, which is shared on this page. We applaud Grace for her heroism. Grace joined us last year after completing the Carlisle Area School District‘s Emergency Responder Training course. She is a firefighter with North Middleton Volunteer Fire Company and Carlisle Fire & Rescue Services.
Even though this call doesn’t directly involve NMFC it involves one of our members. Great Job Grace!
