Rural Water Supply

Over the weekend members took a class on rural water supply. Members from NMFC, Upper Frankford Township Volunteer Fire Co. and Cumberland Valley IAFF F-109 took part in multiple scenarios on getting water to the fire in multiple ways where hydrants aren’t as available. During the training NMFC ran 3 calls which made for a busy Saturday. This included a Wildfire in the area of Gasoline Alley and Wolfs Bridge Road, Auto Accident in the area of Harrisburg Pike and Westpoint Drive, and finally Transferring Truck 39 to Hampton Township Fire Company while they worked on a Fully Involved Structure Fire.
