Over the weekend members took a class on rural water supply. Members from NMFC, Upper Frankford Township Volunteer Fire Co. and Cumberland Valley IAFF F-109 took part in multiple scenarios on getting water to the fire in multiple ways where hydrants aren’t as available. During the training NMFC ran 3 calls which made for a busy Saturday. This included a Wildfire in the area of Gasoline Alley and Wolfs Bridge Road, Auto Accident in the area of Harrisburg Pike and Westpoint Drive, and finally Transferring Truck 39 to Hampton Township Fire Company while they worked on a Fully Involved Structure Fire.
On meeting night Grace Snyder was awarded for her heroism and selflessness actions on the night of January 7th from Chief Murray. While Grace was working for Cumberland Goodwill EMS. A crash came in around the corner from their station. When they arrived on the scene, Grace saw a man having problems getting away from his truck that was on fire. Grace was able to pull the man away from his truck safely before any harm was done. NMFC is proud to have you as part of our family. Great Job Grace!
$575 Raised for PA Breast Cancer Coalition Early in September, we set a goal to raise $300 for Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October. The members of NMFC want to thank everyone who purchased a T-Shirt as we were able to donate 575$ from our 1st ever Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirts. I want to thank Daniele from PA Breast Cancer Coalition for coming out to accept our donation and I also want to thank Hot Frog Print Media for helping us design the T-Shirts.

This was all captured on video, which is shared on this page. We applaud Grace for her heroism. Grace joined us last year after completing the Carlisle Area School District‘s Emergency Responder Training course. She is a firefighter with North Middleton Volunteer Fire Company […]
